Geek Craft: Super Mario Piranha Plant Scarf

marioscarf1.jpgSuper Mario: what's not to love? Who wouldn't fall for the charms of a portly Italian plumber with a bristling moustache and bright red dungarees? He's got job security, he possibly has a nice holiday home back in his native land and he has the power to take out bad guys with a flick of the tortoise shell.

Well now you can drape yourself in one of the awesome little guys conquests with the geek chic Super Mario Piranha Plant Scarf.

The scarf is computer-game colourful and is made in crochet. The cool thing about the crochet pattern is that it gives it a pixelly effect so the scarf looks like it's literally been pulled from one of the game's green tubes after Mario has stomped on its head.

You can see Enemyairship's full free crochet pattern here.

Now all I have to do is work out how to get rid of that pesky Princess Toadstool and Mario and I can live happily ever after. *phones Bowser for kidnap rates*
