How to: recycled newsprint Christmas wreath

recycled-wreath.jpgLooking for a non-traditional way to decorate your home this winter?

Frugal crafter Linaloo did a fantastic job of making a Christmas wreath out of nothing but newspaper after watching a paper-folding tutorial for making festive rosettes. I think the results really speak for themselves, don't you?

The instructions can be followed using any type of paper: plain, black and white or multicoloured all work well depending on the effect you want. I'd love to see the monochrome newspaper version decorated with some bright red or gingham ribbons for maximum contrast. And of course, using old paper means you're not using up any precious resources when there are others going to waste. Green Christmas here we come!
