Join fellow sneaky stitchers
It's all very well being a lone woolly warrior of the graffiti knit but even the most hardcore yarnstormer can get a little lonely. Lucky for all those concerned with the way of the sneaky stitch that there are places you can go to share the trials and triumphs of your graffiti knitting exploits with people who understand.
Subversive Yarn is a social network of graffiti knitters who get together online to tell tales of their yarnstorms (or yarnbombs if you're that way inclined) and share advice on how to get your outdoor knit on in the most delightful way.
The space has been created by Rachel Elwell, an artist also involved with Art Yarn, and is open to graffiti knitters from anywhere. You'll find the usual suspects from the world of graffiti knitting, such as Knit the City and Yarnbombing, along with some smaller groups and solo artists who are doing some fabulous work.
If you've put knitting on something you clearly should not have within the public eye then this is the place for you.
