Mittens aren't the most practical of garments if you're over the age of three, but you've got to - ahem - HAND it to the maker of these too-cute mittens for her sense of originality and fun. They'd also be great to have stashed away in your coat pocket at this time of year - when even a dash out to get bread and milk can seem like a terrifying trek into an Arctic winter.
If you'd like to make a pear of panda mittens of your own (or vary the theme to another animal likeness), this is a great project for beginners as all it takes is a very basic pattern mitten pattern which can then be appliqued with the bear's features. The full pattern, from Red Velvet Art, can be found here.
