Crafty Art: wired, weird and wonderful

bentobjects.jpgStab a ball of yarn with your knitting needles and you're not likely to feel any guilt at all. Stick a little pair of arms and a skinny pair of legs on said ball of yarn and suddenly you're feeling all guilty and murderous.

Welcome to the world of Bent Objects. Artist Terry Border turns every day objects into slightly disturbing people. Starting with the blood-weeping ball of yarn, we trawl the Bent Objects site to find zombie peanuts, the painfully punny Sir Lawrence Olivey-Eye and a plethora of wire-limbed weirdness you'll either love or run screaming from.

I'm quite thankful I don't know Mr Border in real life. You'd live in constant fear of him suddenly giving life to your lunch or animating your office stapler. You may never get the chance to make use of an inanimate object without guilt again.
