This weekend sees crafty folks flocking to the North as a new event is launched into the making stuff stratosphere.
Make, Do and Knit, a two-day craft event with a distinctly vintage feel, is set to gently shove your stitching and making into more traditional times.
The show runs on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of March and its historic Grade II listed building setting in the Bluecoat School, Liverpool, starts it off on an excellent footing. The building features a circular stone chapel, with a fabulous glass-domed ceiling, where the event is offering fashion shows and a place to sit and knit.
All manner of crafts are being crammed into the proceedings with book signings, workshops, and the all-important flock of crafty sellers selling everything from handspun yarn to vintage costumes and fabrics.
Ticket prices are £4 on the door or a two-day ticket for £6. A bargain for access to so many crafty temptations, leaving you enough to treat yourself to more must-have additions to your stash.
Take an empty bag and a mind open to all crafts. Come home with both full to the brim.
