Graffiti knitting warms Brisbane's winter

p5260973.jpgI am loving the collective good yarnstorming works of the newest graffiti knitting group to pop up down under. On the first day of the Australian winter the residents of Brisbane woke up to a woolly wave of yarnstorming goodness.

The new group have dubbed themselves I Knit Brisbane and what's impressive is the scale of their yarnstorm. They've shoved gloves on giant hands, knitted cosies for all manner of poles, stitched up miniature washing lines and created a crochet wonderland.

See news footage of their night of the knit .

There's a map on their website to show the path of their fibre-based festivities too.

Fabulous work, Aussie yarnstormers. Keep up the sneaky stitching. :)
