Lady Gaga raised many a carnivorous and vegetarian eyebrow by sporting her meat dress at the MTV Video Awards. If you're going to go Gaga this Halloween it's pretty much the must-have of the spooky season and who better to tell you how to do it than two of craft's cleverest.
Craft Queen Perri Lewis and Emma Toft, Empress of all things handmade have teamed up in The Guardian's Craft section to slap together a stitched and quite unstinky Lady Gaga Meat Dress tutorial. Now you can have that steaky style without the carcass creepiness that might come with it.
Emma 'The Fastener' Toft works in costume design and is responsible for costume wonders including Batman Begins, In the Night Garden and the latest Harry Potter film. She is also becoming well-known for her knit graffiti shenanigans and dips her toes in many other cool crafts as The Fastener, a proud purling member of Knit the City.
Go out for your Halloween night in brilliant bloody Gaga style without leaving a trail of gore in your wake or attracting local hounds. Brilliant.
