What's the buzzing noise? AGH! The tiny robot insects are swarming!
The hideously talented Tom Hardwidge creates Arthrobots, a combination of robots and arthropods. These amazing steampunk bugs start life as sketches and then are brought to life in metal bits, from deactivated ammunition to nuts and bolts, on the artist's dining room table "where he has all of his tools and materials laid out to prevent any actual dining from taking place".
