Knitting pattern: Dr Who Tardis socks

tardis_socks.JPGWool-wrangling fans of Dr Who rejoice! A knitting pattern has materialised that will allow you to cover your toes in Gallifreyan goodness and tip your hat to your favourite time lord's Time and Relative Dimension in Space vehicle.

This TARDIS Socks knitting pattern is the work of Anna Richardson also known as One Hand Knits, whose original and really rather lovely designs have been popping up all over people's Ravelry queues.

The toe-up socks feature a cable and TARDIS pattern and an expanded calf with the infamous 'DW' initials worked in. And you're free to dream of David Tennant or Matt Smith while you stitch at no extra charge.

Other favourite designs include her Hester Gauntlets and the amusingly named vintage-style Ribbed for Her Pleasure.

Anna is definitely a designer to keep an eye on whether you're a general Dalek-dodger or just a fan of fabulous knits.

(If you're at Knit Nation this weekend find One Hand Knits on The Bothered Owl's stall and maybe grab some of their lovely stitchmarkers while you're there too)
