"So you think you can knit?" screams the front cover of The K Factor, a knitting pattern book that takes the X-Factor and the 'K Factor' segment from Harry Hill's TV Burp and shoves them onto your knitting needles. Hmm...
The hardback book published by Anova will set you back £9.99 and features patterns for The Knitted Character (who is actually crocheted, much to the horror of pedantic fibre fans worldwide), Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and wingless Peter the Duck (who apparently won the whole thing).
If you're a huge X-Factor or Harry Hill fan and you knit then this is probably the book you have been longing for. If you're not then run for the hills screaming as it's packed with references to the shows, as well as shots from the programmes featuring the woolly stars. But at least knitting is getting some publicity, right?
