Designer Andrea Rangel has spent many frustrating hours recreating the very same sweater that The Dude sports in the film.
It begins with a wild idea:
So we were watching The Big Lebowski with a group of friends when my husband said, "Hey, you should make that sweater." Of course I responded that it would be easy, I could do it in no time. Everyone agreed that knitting the dude's sweater would be pretty badass.
and ends with a free knitting pattern for the Big Lebowski Sweater, with rather a lot of hard work in between.
