Gallery: sneak peek at the V&A's Power of Making exhibition

Hooray for craft in museums! The V&A's Power of Making exhibition opens today and a few lucky folks got invited to have a peek before the public. Your Crafty Crafty correspondent was there with her camera. Here's a sneak peek at what's on display, though it's only the tip of the handmade iceberg.

There's everything from a coathanger gorilla and crocheted undies to works by Shauna Richardson (an amazing crochetdermy bear, Alexander McQueen (snakeskin shoes) and John Makepeace.

Go and see it! It's fabulous.
