Graffiti knitting is running a woolly riot all over right now with yarnstorms popping up everywhere from Stateside to Down Under to right here in London. Doing it in their own unique and tongue-in-cheek style are Knit the City, London's infamous graffiti knitting crew, and today sees the launch of their fabulous book! Woo hoo!
Knit the City: A Whodunnknit Set in London is a collection of the sneaky stitching group's most infamous city knits from their iconic London Phonebox Cosy to their gargantuan 13-foot Web of Woe (complete with over 40 screaming amigurumi) to Plarchie, the scarily handsome giant knitted squid.
It also contains two simple knitting patterns for those wanted to start yarnstorming themselves.
The woolly wonders are having a HUGE handmade book launch over at London's lovely Gosh Comics on September 16th and they're inviting everyone. See full details over on their website or check out the Facebook event.
