Mass production beware! The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair is coming to Manchester and it's bringing a whole world of handmade with it.
Taking place from 20 to 23 October, the Fair will give visitors a opportunity to see and buy the latest work in jewellery, interior textiles, fashion accessories, glass, ceramics, wood and paper. There'll be everything from accessories and gifts to functional items for the home direct from 140 inspiring designer-makers, including established crafters and emerging new talent.
Makers include Yu-Ping Lin, with her hand painted, pleated neckpieces; Katherine Richmond, whose work explores the fragile relationship between people and objects, to SodaKitsch's handcrafted bags.
