How to: give a stranger hope
Life can be a bit of a drag sometimes but it usually takes just a few kind words to turn it all around. Friends can be there when you need them but how about making someone's day but joining an inspiring new movement where you make hope for total strangers?
HOPErevo is my new favourite project. It was started by Krystyn, who works as a designer at web publishing platform SquareSpace. After finding a particularly hateful note about the homeless in coffeeshop one day, she decided to turn the tables on the haters and spread a little love. So she replaced the note with a hopeful one and thus the movement began.
The idea is as simple as it sounds: write a hopeful note and leave it somewhere for anyone to find.
You can also join in by adding the HOPErevo tag to your image on Flickr or adding HOPErevo to your filename so it pops up on Google images.
A beautiful way give a little hope to a total stranger. Get out there, make guerrilla happiness, and join HOPErevo. Go on.
