Wool Week turns London baaavellous

woolmodern.jpgIt's Wool Week and across the UK there are sheepish happenings all over. Here are some of my favourites London fleecey fiestas.

Kate Jenkins at the Rebecca Hossack Gallery - some seriously sweet stitched art from the Queen of knitted food Kate Jenkins. On show at the London gallery till September 24th.

Wool Modern at Pall Mall Galleria
- A celebration of Wool in the 21st Century featuring Yves Saint Laurent and Alexander McQueen. On show until September 29th.

Liberty of London showcase Royal College of Art winner - Liberty are teaming up with Rowan Yarns to judge students knitted designs. The winning design will be featured in one of Liberty's windows for the duration of Wool Week.

Gosh Comics tiny handmade herd - In celebration of the new Knit the City book out this week, the London comic shop has a small herd of handmade knitted sheep gracing their window (along with a not so woolly giant knitted squid)

John Lewis 'Love Wool' classes - The department store are offering classes in knitting, felting and weaving in store.

Check out more events UK-wide at the Campaign for Wool website.
