Friday film: The world's largest stop-motion animation

gulp_nokia.jpgRemember last year when I blogged about the world's smallest stop-motion animation, all filmed on a Nokia phone? Well Nokia have done it again but this time they've upped the size.

Gulp is being dubbed the world's largest stop motion animation. Shot on Nokia's N8 mobile phone , by the talented folks at Aardman Animations (makers of the Wallace and Gromit movies), the short film involved a huge crane, a few mobile phones, a sandy beach and a whole lot of time (20 seconds of film took 16 hours to shoot).

See how it was done in the 'making of' video.

Amazing stuff and all made on a little phone. Technology, eh?
