"Oh come all ye makers, joyful and covered in glitter glue." Yes, it's finally December and that means the crafty countdown to Christmas begins. Woo hoo! From now until Santa squeezes down your chimney we'll be shoving as much handmade into your Christmas as we can. Ho ho handmade!
Our first Christmas pick is the Craftivist Collective's Mini Protest Banner kit.
Each kit contains two cable ties, fabric with eyelets at the top (to make it easier to hang), cross stitch aida, needle, thread, instructions, some excellent ideas for what to write on it, a Craftivist label and a bit of information on the Collective.
The banners have been popping up all over the globe from London, Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield and Bristol here in the UK to Berlin, LA and Melbourne. By making your mini protest banner you get to join one of craft's most exciting and inspiring movements.
