Holidays are here! No more work and plenty of time for some happy holiday hooking for those of you who like to get their crochet on. This Christmas you can crochet a little holy handmade for the festive season thanks to the fabulous folks at The Guardian.
The free Crochet Christmas Angel pattern, courtesy of Simply Knitting Magazine, takes you through the whole making process down to making the handmade halo. It was part of a whole nativity scene (pictured above) and is really easy to make.
Once you have the basic pattern down you should be able to work out how to make all kinds of Christmas characters.
If you're not sure how to crochet you can always teach yourself with the powers of the internet. There are some great crochet how tos on Youtube and at The Making Spot's How to Crochet page.
