Finding unique gifts that are both handcrafted and beautiful is not always easy.
However, the Duckie Christmas Market is in town and two of Crafty Crafty's very own writers are hosting a stall together starting from this coming Sunday 18th December at The Barbican.
Tofty Makes is the home to my handmade goodies that I create including stitched items, buttons and creatures.
I'll be selling my handmade buttons, limited edition Swarovski covered buttons, cufflinks, jars of buttons, handstitched brooches finished off with Swarovski crystals and my How to Crochet kits - complete with everything you need to get going in the art of 3D Crochet (amigurumi).
Whodunnknit is the home to Lauren O'Farrell's kooky little knits, fantabulous photography and mountain of ways to show off your crafty love.
Lauren will be selling rather lovely exclusive Knit the City graffiti knitting prints, kooky little knitting-themed mirrors, badges, magnets, postcards, and How to Knit kits featuring her Whodunnknit pattern - complete with everything you need to get going in the craft of knitting.
The Duckie Christmas Market is a pop-up indie gift market where you'll find all kinds of handmade wonders including housewares, clothes, gifts, speciality foods, jewellery, artwork and cards. It is running alongside the very popular Duckie show. The market is free entry and is running from 10th to 30th December 2011.
So, if you are in need of a few more gifts for the big day next Saturday (yes, it's that soon - eek!) or just want to buy something unique for yourself, you should definitely check out the Duckie Christmas Market.
If you do pop in, be sure to come and say hi to us both!
Tofty Makes and Whodunnknit will be there on Sunday 18th, Tuesday 20th, Wednesday 21st, Thursday 22nd and Thursday 29th and Friday 30th December.
