Something for all you yarn nerds out there! I didn't see much trace of knitting whilst traveling around South India, but I did see this beguiling cardamom garland.

Normally, garlands like this would involve flowers. This one's been taken out of the realms of perishability with the addition of - acrylic yarn? The colors have been chosen to mimic the traditional flowers precisely.
