Looking forward to some cool Valentine's Day design projects, but feeling like the selection of fonts on your computer is a bit stale?
Well, check out this list of adorable, freaky, but most importantly, FREE handwriting fonts rounded up by the design gurus over at Demilked.
It's a time of year when cardmaking and scrapbooking really come to the fore - and with fonts like these, your design will really stand out. From gothic to classic to just plain goofy, these fonts have it all.

But for some of you, I know grabbing a typeface online won't be enough. Fancy having a go at making your own font? It's hard work - but with a little willpower, crafters can do anything!
Luckily, Dougson 2 on Instructables has made a simple tutorial that names the software, tools, and basic know-how you can use to design your own font. And with all the weddings, parties and other festivities coming up in the spring and summer - and all the design projects that go with them - your efforts will pay plenty of dividends.
