Valentine's craft: Heart bunting crochet pattern
It's that special time of year again when roses start appearing in all the shop windows and hearts surround every card shop.
It's a great pattern, it makes gorgeous bunting and it's free! All you need is a little yarn and time, and you can whip up some hearts to string up around your home.
There some other lovely patterns on her blog too and you can join Sandra in her quest to make her home into a 'pretty crafty home' by posting a comment and putting the 'pretty crafty home' button on your blog.
Sandra's crochet'd hearts are crying out for embellishment. Add a few buttons, a couple of beads and ribbons here and there, like Sandra has done, and it needn't be taken down when the last kiss of Valentine's day has been given.
Not into crochet? You could always knit your hearts. I created a knitted heart pattern a few years ago. To make it bigger, use larger needles and a thicker yarn or double up the yarn, but mini bunting would look pretty cool too.
Which ever way you make it, I reckon hearts make pretty nifty bunting.
