How to: make a baby flower headband

Recently I held my baby girl's Christening. If you've ever (like me) searched for baby headbands to buy for your little one, or indeed are looking for a unique gift to make for a baby, it's always better to make one than buy.

Here's a tutorial from my blog, Tofty Makes, so you too can make a little headband.

The idea was that when she wasn't wearing her bonnet, she would wear her headband. (Her hair is a little wild and I wanted to keep it in check, as well as have her wearing something a little special).

On the day, the bonnet came off shortly after the ceremony and the headband, forgotten about, stayed firmly in my pocket!

I remembered at around 6pm when most of the guests had gone home and Leila was in her sleepsuit, ready for bed!

However, she's worn it a few times since to make up for it!

You can also read all about the cake and shoes I made for the Christening, complete with how to make them, here on Crafty Crafty.

If you make a headband for your little one, I'd love to see it! Please comment below, with a link...
