Knit Relief goes live for Sports Relief
Want to win an ever-so-cute amigurumi octopus? A handknitted pair of TARDIS socks? A one-off exclusive by an infamous graffiti knitters? Well, you're in luck and it's all for the Sport Relief Charity too!
Earlier in the month I wrote about Teen Granny Scarlett F Curtis's Knit Relief project, where you can offer one of your crafty creations or the use of your handmade skills, to raise money for Sports Relief.
The donations came flying in and there are some doozies. My favourites at this fabulous crocheted Kermit the Frog by Louise Campbell, Emma Pooley's Rain Cloud, Anna Richardson's TARDIS Socks, a personalised knitted figure by Scarlet herself, the handknitted TARDIS by Sally Rose for Dr Who fans, and these very squeeee amigurumi octopi by Alyssa Crittenden (which I have already been outbid on twice!).
Up for grabs is also my exclusive Whodunnknit, handmade Little My which was featured at my Knit the City book launch. She'll come in an exclusive Whodunnknit presentation box with an exclusive set of graffiti knitting badges too. Go bid on her!
Check out all 53 of the Knit Relief makes here and give to get a heavenly bit of handmade.
Kudos to the lovely Scarlett to for a genius idea. We'll report back with the results of Knit Relief when the auctions end.
