Above: these adorbs Bunsen and Beaker cufflinks from Charlie Carter on Etsy would be the ideal gift for a sweetly geeky groom.
This summer, my husband will be the best man to one of our closest friends, a guy who's helped us move, run a half-marathon with us, and did a LOT of logistical work (unprompted!) when we were married five years ago. And did I mention all the rad dinner parties he's hosted? This guy's pretty cool - as is his lady love - and we've got to express our esteem somehow.
Perhaps this explains why I'm on Etsy, tearing the place apart in search of excellent cufflinks! Sure, we'll be making a sizeable donation to the honeymoon fund, but it would be great to give our pal something small and personal to say thanks for all the good times.
Plus, having an extra pair of cufflinks to hand when you're getting married can be very useful.
Please enjoy this roundup of my absolute favorite Etsy cufflinks.
These classy Super Mario silver cuffs by Beaujangles scream nerdy fun up close but are subtle enough to include in the most formal wedding ensemble.

Etsy's chockablock with cufflinks made from old coins and transit tokens - but these Honolulu tokens from the amazing year of 1951 are by far my faves. Perfect for a beach wedding!

The list of materials is a bit over-the-top, but I think crafty brains like yours will be able to find substitutes (I think I'll be swapping out the digital timer for a plain old clock, thanks very much).
