Over at Design Sponge Kate Pruitt has shared Aura Scaringi's How to Make Your own Kokedama String Garden tutorial.
Kokedama are Japanese moss balls, which are essentially hanging plants without the baskets. They look pretty damned cool too, and according to Kate are super easy to make yourself.
