How to: make a Japanese 'string garden'

string_garden.jpgGreen-fingered folks are always looking for news ways to get planting, and this 'string garden' style of hanging plants from Japan is a pretty cool one. Want to know how to make some of your own?

Over at Design Sponge Kate Pruitt has shared Aura Scaringi's How to Make Your own Kokedama String Garden tutorial.

Kokedama are Japanese moss balls, which are essentially hanging plants without the baskets. They look pretty damned cool too, and according to Kate are super easy to make yourself.
