Above: some trademark embellished amigurumi by Craft Crafty reporter Emma Toft, aka The Fastener.
Calling all amigurumi heads! This month you have a rare chance to learn from one of the fiber-freaks who make up the Crafty Crafty team. Bow down before the Fastener, aka Crafty Crafty reporter Emma Toft.
I'm just kidding - sit back up and have a cupcake, while taking her amazing Amigurumi Workshop this April 28th at East London's top craft destination, Craft Guerilla!
Perhaps it should be no surprise that a lady who's helped to make creatures for In The Night Garden, the Harry Potter films, and many more productions for film and telly should be drawn to the world of amigurumi, the art of making tiny, adorable - usually crocheted - sculptures which originated in Japan.
Go to the Craft Guerrilla site to sign up and get more information.
For more on Emma read our Crafty Crafty interview or visit Tofty Makes.
Happy hooking! And tell The Fastener I say hi if you do go along! Can't make it to the class? Try amigurumi yourself at home with these free patterns I've found online.
