Occasionally you get something delivered that's large and comes on a wooden pallet. Or perhaps you work somewhere where they throw the pallets into a skip? Whatever you do, do not pass that pallet by! Grab it from the skip or save it from the rubbish and turn it into some funky furniture or useful item.

I'd never thought about hacking pallets before I saw my friend use one as decking for her small garden. It looks really sweet and works perfectly.
Using a pallet as a bike trailer or to turn into a seat though, is a fantastic idea and that's not to mention the chandelier (left)!
It looks like the 2 pallets soaking up the rain and waiting to be burned in the garden may have a better life ahead of them. Now, where did I leave my drill...?
