London has a mayor at long last. After endless waiting Boris Johnson was declared London Mayor just before midnight last night. It was a close run race, and it's left a fair few Londoner's scratching their heads at the outcome.
However you feel about the candidates you can't help but squee at the knitted versions of the candidates stitched up by handmade hero Heather Brown. Woolly Bojo, knitty Ken Livingstone, purly Brian Paddick and squishy Jenny Jones in amazing amigurumi style.
Heather has also stitched the likes of Charlie Brown, Charles Darwin and a purly Peter Griffin in her Knitwits series. Who knew that political people could be so pleasant when purled?
