Recipe: Easy Granola, Brooklyn-Style!

granola_inchmark.jpgMake this Brooklyn-style granola for yourself or for a crowd - you'll save money and stay full all morning long!

In the morning, I like to do as little as possible - and that goes triple for cooking. I like my breakfasts easy: bananas and Nutella on toast, some fruit salad. Simple stuff! So I was pretty excited when I saw this tasty-sounding recipe for granola - Brooklyn-style - over at Inchmark.

With plenty of high GI ingredients, granola made from this recipe will keep you going all morning long. Plus, making your own granola can save you quite a bit of money. Three cheers for brunch-tested, custom-made, affordable granola - I can't wait to have mine with bananas and extra honey.

Even better, this recipe makes loads - perfect for easy brunch-time entertaining. If you're making it just for yourself, you might want to think about halving it - but if not, why not follow the author's lead and put some in Mason jars to give as gifts? I have plenty of friends who are just as lazy as I am in the morning, but who still need some decent grub to get them through the day. I could even give some to my parents to thank them for hosting my husband and I for the last few months - they deserve it!
