The time is fast approaching when we'll all be waving our flags once again for GB at The London Olympics. This time, why not wear your flag on your chest and make this little Union Jack necklace?
Made from little scraps of red white and blue fabrics by Hungry Hippee, it's pretty simple to make, even for a newbie to sewing and there are endless ways for you to customise and change the design.
You should note that on the tutorial they mention 'Wonder Under' the British term for this is Vilolene bondaweb or Wundaweb.
Not British? Don't let that stop you making this necklace- most flags could be interpreted in the same style. You could even string two different, smaller flags on if you are of two different nationalities.
I love little, quick makes like this. Sometimes just seeing the ideas are great, this would lend itself well to so many different projects. Bunting, t-shirt, cushion or even oven glove embellishment would work well with this one!
