Check out a rad temporary comics exhibition in London's Lamb's Conduit Street, in which cutting-edge alternative cartoonists are hanging their work in each of this shops on this hip shopping avenue. The show is up until 5th August.
This week cartoonists from all over London - and the world! - have taken over Lamb's Conduit Street, one of the capital's hippest shopping streets. It's all in anticipation of this weekend's International Alternative Press Fair, 4th and 5th August at Bloomsbury's Conway Hall.
Come early and hit both! You'll see work by exhibition curator Tanya Meditzky, Matt Abbiss, Esther McManus, Ellen Lindner, Barnaby Richards and many more. Each artist has been invited into a shop, to create site-specific comics.
Check out the IAPF website for info on this and other comics and zines-themed events around the fair - and be sure to stop by Lamb's Conduit Street on the evening of Thursday, 2nd August for the private view.
Above: some work by moi - that is, New York artist Ellen Lindner - for this excellent show! This is one panel from a giant comic created for Italian restaurant Ciao Bella.
