Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery has been adorned in knitting for Olympics community project.
Textile artist Sara Fowles and Stitches and Ho installed the work as a celebration of the arrival American and Jamaican Olympic teams in Birmingham where they are staying for the Olympics.
400 volunteer knitters from across the West Midlands contributed to make the piece which used 1,300 balls of wool and took approximately 4,500 hours to make. It will remain until the end of September.
